The dispute between hotel staff and property developer at a hotel on October 28 turned intense after hotel owner’s complaint with Law Minister PC Sharma alleging bias action by police in handling the case. Complaint was made by hotel owner on Wednesday.
Over the complaint submitted against him, Minister PC Sharma said that the SHO of Shahpura is not discharging his duties properly and he should do the work without bias.
Minister Sharma has ordered probe into the matter which started at a hotel Smack where the property developer Vicky Bhateja and Ankit Kodwani had a violent fight with the hotel staff after an argument over a delay in serving of food while family of Vicky had come for dinner on October 28.
According to police the dispute took place when victim Vickey Bhateja and Ankit Kodwani along with family including women members had gone to Smake food restaurant at Bawadia Kalan to have dinner and after waiting for food the builder complaint about the service to the eatery owner which escalated to an argument after few of the male members of family went inside kitchen and after verbal spat, they started beating hotel staff and were reciprocated in the same manner employees and who also in turn thrashed builder’s family.
The entire incident was recorded in security surveillance cameras installed there. The footage revealed the whole incident.
However the case was not reported till Tuesday. The videos went viral over social media and later a counter case was registered under relevant sections of IPC by Shahpura police and started investigation in the incident.
On Wednesday hotel owner raised allegation that police are trying to save Vickey Bhateja of Signature Builders.
