BJP Chhattisgarh in-charge and national general secretary Dr Anil Jain, addressing the divisional selection committee members, said the upcoming civic body election is vital for the party.
The difference in the functioning of the BJP government and present Congress government should be spread among the people, he said adding people are fed up with the current dispensation.
He said a befitting reply should be given to the “failed, undemocratic and unpopular” state government. Congress has withdrawn the democratic rights of people to elect the mayor or chairman directly, he alleged.
He said each worker has to stay united and work for the success of the party.
BJP’s national vice president Raman Singh said morale of workers are high and the state government has failed in all sectors. There is a sense of terror prevailing, which is visible. Amar Agrawal said one has to go with target of victory and waves are in party’s favour.
