Parliamentary Affairs minister Ravindra Choubey announced the suspension of Public Health Engineering department engineer Sanjiv Bramhpuria and ENC probe and action will be taken against those found guilty as issue and objection raised by member is critical.
On the fifth day of winter session of Chhattisgarh State Assembly, Bilaspur Cong MLA Shailesh Pandey raised the issue of lack of pure drinking water in Bilaspur city. He pointed out that more than Rs 100 crore has been spent but the city is yet to get pure drinking water instead the water supplied is mixed with sewerage. This is causing water-borne diseases among the city residents.
He claimed the reply given by department is incorrect and raised objection over it and demanded that the reply is incorrect and for giving such an information stern action should be taken against the officer.
