A book “RSS: Building India Through Sewa” that highlights the sacrifices made by Swayamsewaks in Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was released on Friday.
The book written by Sudhanshu Mittal was released by Dattatreya Hosabale (Joint Secretary, RSS), Minister of Textiles ((Government of India) Smriti Zubin Irani and Rajat Sharma (Chairman, India TV) in an event held at Pravasi Bhartiya Kendra, Delhi. The book is published by Har-Anand Publications.
Sharing his vision behind writing this book, Sudhanshu Mittal said, “I have written this book to give recognition to Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) which is the world’s largest non-governmental organisation.
“It (RSS) has made an immense contribution to India and beyond. This book is not just about a perspective but about facts and RSS’s contribution in building the nation,” he said.
Member of Parliament, Smriti Irani said, “The book speaks about the real truth. More than 30 lakh women in India are serving through RSS women’s organisation which empowers our country.
Through this book, Sudhanshu Mittal has highlighted the sacrifices made by Swayamsewaks in RSS who are working for the welfare of Indian Society across the country, she added.
