To mark the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on October 31, voluntary blood donation camps will be held at all the government blood banks.
The blood banks will hold both indoor and outdoor blood donation camps where voluntary donors, non-government organisations, youth, business communities, sports, social organisations, police and para-medical teams will donate blood.
Health department in a letter to all the government medical college deans, joint director cum chief hospital superintendent, all district chief medical and health officers and civic surgeons have directed to hold voluntary blood donation camps in their premises.
