Pallahara Assembly constituency BJP candidate Ashok Mohanty along with his party leaders visited the EVM strong room and enquired about the security system on Monday.
Mohanty discussed about the security system with Returning Officer-cum-Sub-Collector Ajit Kumar Pradhan. Police forces have been engaged in a three-tier security system and CCTVs installed in and outside of the strong room where EVMs and VVPAT machines have been kept, Pradhan told Mohanty.
Mohanty urged the Sub-Collector to maintain the security system till the day of counting of votes.
