Vivek Pathak, DGM (IT), Bhopal Unit and Debasish Mandal, DGM (Commercial), EPD Bengaluru Unit, representing BHEL, won the Regional round of the 16th edition of Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz, India’s Biggest and Highest rated Corporate quiz, after competing with the sharpest minds of various reputed organisations from Central India.
This is their Fifth consecutive historic win in a row. The Quiz was held at TCS campus, Indore, on September 23, 2019. The Team won a cash award of Rs 75000. Amitabh Tiwari, head of Tata Consultancy services – Indore, Varanasi, Patna and Lucknow campuses, was the guest of honour. This is for the Fifth Consecutive time that this team has brought laurels for the organization. This is a record of any sorts for a team in Central India. The Quiz will be telecast in Times Now channel, the official Media partner, in the last week of October 2019. Around 100 teams from different reputed national and multinational companies participated in the preliminary round of this Business Quiz and BHEL team was amongst the top 6 teams to make it to the Finals. In the finals, they were simply unstoppable, with amazing speed, depth of knowledge and passion for information and registered a resounding victory, with a score of 700. The runners up scored 300. Tata Crucible is India’s most prestigious Corporate Business Quiz competitions, wherein over 3000 teams, across 25 cities participated in the last year’s edition held by the Tata Group.
