The Rotary Club of Berhampur Central established two libraries at the Utkalmani UP School and Barracks High School here on Tuesday. Former Rotary district governor Dr Narayan Mishra and lawyer Badri Dash inaugurated the libraries, respectively. Since inception of these schools there was no separate library facility for the students. Two Rotarian from RC Lagos lsland (RID 9110 Nigeria) Chinmayee and Anant Sabat donated entire amount for library at Utkalmani School where as Asha Mishra and Dr Narayan Mishra at Barracks High School.
The club has already done 37 such happy school projects (provision of libraries, safe drinking water and dual desk bench) for unprivileged students of the Government schools. Among others, G Srinbas Rao, Sudarshan Sahu, Manjula Dash, Pratap Das, Kirti Das, Tara Mishra, schools Headmasters, CRCCs, Rajesh Tarini, KC Sahu, Saroj Prusty, Dr Sudhanshu Kumari Mohanty and Susmita Dash were present.
