Aman Singh joins as CEO of private power company

Aman Singh, former principal secretary to the erstwhile Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh, has joined as a CEO of the RattanIndia Power Limited.

RattanIndia group, is a business conglomerate with business interests in power generation and finance. RattanIndia Power Limited is currently developing coal based thermal power projects in Amravati and Nasik in Maharashtra. RattanIndia was formerly part of a multi-million company, the Indiabulls.

Aman Singh, the 1995 IRS (Indian Revenue Services) officer, was considered as one of the most powerful bureaucrats in Chhattisgarh. He was among a few trusted officers of Raman Singh.

After BJP lost power in Chhattisgarh, Aman Singh resigned from the service. The state government headed by Congress party has formed a SIT to probe into the alleged financial irregularities caused by Aman Singh during the BJP rule in Chhattisgarh.
