The agitation of Anganwadi workers in support of their various demands continued on Monday. The Anganwadi workers are camping at protest site from last many days. As a mark of protest, workers organised a blood donation camp on the day.
The president of the association of Anganwadi workers, Rekha Negi said that remuneration of Anganwadi workers should be increased to Rs 18000 per month and they should be provided remuneration equal to that of union government.
She said that department should relax tough norms imposed on attendance by mobile phone and others.
