Kolar police arrested 9 persons gambling and recovered Rs 52450 cash from their possession near Sagar Premium Tower on Monday. Acting on a tip off, 9 gamblers were caught gambling by Kolar police late in the night on Saturday.
Police said that the in the raid the gamblers were found gambling in front of a construction agency office. The gamblers tried to escape but were chased and arrested.
The nabbed accused were identified as Munna Yadav(33) , Sher Singh Yadav (36), Narendra Kumar Patil (30), Sunil Gaur( 36), Santosh Sonawane(41), Ashwin alias Bunty Sharma( 35), Pawan Pandey(30), Pawan Sharma(30) and Hari Shankar Maheshwari(50). The gamblers are from different areas of Bhopal. The police have registered a case under section 13 Gambling Act and started further investigation.
