A 37-year-old worker was electrocuted while working at an under construction house at Aishbgah on Thursday; Aishbagh police have started investigation. .
Police said that the deceased identified as Sarvesh Singh was electrocuted in the afternoon on Thursday and was rushed to Hamidia hospital where doctors declared him brought dead and later police were informed regarding the death.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation into the matter.
The deceased got electrocuted while the work of laying of concrete slab was going on Thursday afternoon and he got electrocuted when he came into contact with electric power lines.
Police said that a case of death caused due to negligence would be registered if the contractor and house owner are found guilty in the investigation.
Meanwhile a 24-year-old youth died on Friday who was injured after his bike slipped three days ago. Kolar police have started investigation.
Police said the deceased identified as Akhilesh Singh sustained injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared. The deceased was profusely bleeding due to injury and he died of excessive bleeding told the doctors, case filed.
