25-year-old boy stabbed by colleague

A 25 year old boy, residing at Pipratand under Argora Police Station in Ranchi, allegedly stabbed with knife by his colleague in personal dispute on Thursday which resulted in minor road jam during day time at the spot.

Argora Police Station In-charge Rajiv Ranjan Lal informed that Mannu Lohra, aged 25 years was residing with his colleague Shravan Ram at Pipara Tand under Argora Police Station in Ranchi. In a personal dispute Ram stabbed Lohara with knife at his stomach in midday on Thursday.

“The incident took place at around 11 am in the morning. After stabbing Lohra Ram fled from the spot. People from adjoining area gathered at the place which created situation of uproar and a minor road blockage at around 11.30 am in midday.  Both of them come here from Hazaribagh for study purpose. They know each other since a long time,” said Lal.

The Police Station In-charge said that the Police got information at around 11. 30 am. “After getting information a Police Team reached the spot and admitted Lohra at Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) for further treatment. His condition is critical but under control. Police registered a report in this matter and started search out operation of Ram,” he added.
