As many as 10 members of an opera troupe were injured when a truck carrying them overturned after hitting a bike at Kantol here on the old Cuttack-Sambalpur road on Friday.
According to initial reports, the truck carrying the troupe members of Savitri Gananatya and equipment was en route to Sambalpur when the driver lost control over the wheels and hit a bike.
The truck then skidded off the road and turned turtle. On being informed, police rushed to the spot.
With the help of locals, the cops rushed all the injured to the Athagarh Sub-Divisional Hospital. One of the critically injured Balaram Sahoo of Kantol village here was referred to the SCB Medical Hospital in Cuttack. All other minor injured released after fast-aid.
