A Hindi play 'Titli' was performed at Bharat Bhavan here on Thursday. The play was performed under Madhya Pradesh Rangotsav.
Directed by Sachin Verma the play was performed by the artists of Pratyancha Theatre Troupe, Chhindwara.
The play focuses on the evil faces of human beings. The play talks about how society has objectified women. From ages this has been followed in society. The play is adapted from the story 'Ghar se bhagi hui ladki' by Pankaj Soni.
The plat is about a girl who runs away from her homr. After this what all she faces is the gist of the play. The play has portrayed a very serious issue before the audience. The play talked about her journey and what all she faces.
Women has always been a riddle, mystery for man. It is always a tough part for the man to solve it. The play highlights the dark points of heart, how that girls escspes from her own house, meet different people, experiences different situations forms the story.
Till now the plsy has been performed 50 times in different parts of the country. It has bern loved by the theatre lovers.
The complexities of life was shown beautifully through different situations which was loved by the audience.
The play was beautifully performed keeping the seriousness of the concept intact. The light design of the play added mood to the scenes making the play watching worthwhile.
