Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday said that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) was ‘not co-operating’ in the SIT probe on Jheeram valley massacre in which almost an entire State leadership of Congress party was wiped out in a bloody Maoist attack in May 2013.
Commenting on political storm created after declaration of SIT probe into Antagarh Tape issue, Baghel said that the persons allegedly involved are in fear of being found to be culprits.
He was addressing a Labour’s Convention held at Congress party’s State headquarters Rajiv Bhawan here.
He said that the State is moving forward on the path of justice and truth and it is painful for those now who indulged in wrong doings.
Regarding demands of labourers, Baghel assured them of fulfilling their demands during the Budget session from February 8 in the Chhattisgarh Assembly.
