Success should not only be confined to jubilation; it must be combined with newer challenges to serve our motherland in the best possible manner, speakers opined at the grand felicitation ceremony for the exceptional achievers of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, held on Saturday.
Former Lt General JK Mohanty and Commissioner of Police Satyajit Mohanty joined as the chief guest and chief speaker respectively on the occasion. Principal Dr KC Satapathy presented the achievements of the school and its phenomenal position at the national level.
Among others, chairman of the school MM Panda, chairman of DAV Kalinganagar SC Mishra, SMC member BC Jena, DAV ARO Dr Sujata and Principals of DAV institutions of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack were guests on dais.
Toppers of CBSE class 10 and 12, 90 per cent above markholders , subject toppers, full mark holders among 500 were honoured with mementos, citations and cash prizes. Supervisors Anjushree Pradhan and Niharika Gantayat coordinated while headmistress Sanjita Sahoo presented the vote of thanks.
