Summer in Jamaica is fun-filled and has everything to make your summer a memorable one.  Home of all Right, Jamaica, brings to you the summer festivals, starting July. The preview includes an exciting line-up of events like Food Festivals, Reggae Concerts and Fashion Shows that are taking place in the different parts of Jamaica this summer.

Jamaican summer is jam-packed with live music, family-friendly entertainment, and festivals that let you experience, feel and explore Jamaica like never before.

The festivities kick-start in Kingston, with ‘International Reggae Day’, a 24-hour festival starting 1st July, bringing awareness to the history of music and highlighting the influence, that reggae culture has on Jamaican music. Extending the festivities till the ‘Reggae Sumfest’, a premier festival celebrated in Montego Bay, showcases the island’s indigenous reggae music and also promotes Jamaica as a prime summer destination. Starting from 15th July Till 22nd July, the festival is in its 26th year and witnessed thousands of visitors and media across the globe. Artist line up this year includes Popcaan, Aidonia, Bounty killer, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and Beres Hammond to name a few.

After witnessing the world of Reggae in all its glory, comes the ‘Jamaica Festival’ that starts from 31st July Till 6th August in Kingston and Montego Bay, which showcases many exciting events portraying the Jamaican talent. The Float Parade And Grand Gala are sure to revitalize and engender the nostalgic Independence celebrations, taking you back and beyond to experience the culture of the nation. Other activities entail: Mello - Go Roun ', Emancipation Vigils, World Reggae Dance Finals, National Thanksgiving Church Service, Augus Fair And Independence Street Dance.

In the middle of this, the passionate and infectious sounds of ‘Montego Bay Jerk Festival’, a one-day outdoor event, is celebrated on 1st August. This is a family-oriented outdoor day and night festival, which is all about unique activities for children and offers special family entertainment packages, authentic Jamaican food and live music shows.

With such wonderful events lined up, we will surely vacation right!
