Astroturf ; Be true to yourself in your actions

Someone came asking: “How fast can I have a male child?” “How can you ensure conception of a male child and that too in a time bound manner?” I countered.  “IVF technology has grown to a level that it can ensure male conception.” He answered.

Assuming that it is possible, it is also important that your wife should be healthy enough to sustain the pregnancy.  And going by astrological reading, her health status doesn’t seem worth it as of now.  Have patience for another three years, and let her work upon her health. Even otherwise, she has already birthed two children. In between she had few miscarriages. Also, had to contend with two failed IVF attempts to her account. Your wife’s body is not a machine. She needs to be allowed enough time to gather strength. And, you are not without children; how does their gender matter. In today’s world, don’t you think that insistence for a male child reflects a regressive attitude?  Isn’t it your egotistical desire which is driving you crazy? Also, remember, life doesn’t necessarily move to your asking.

Meanwhile I realised that my advisory was not getting into his head.  I then had to tell him that he was not being true to himself. Pat came his reply. “I am sorry, Sir, but I beg to differ. It is because I am true to myself that I am passionately pursuing this desire.”

Well, you have not understood what I meant. Bear in mind; you don’t exist in your own right. Truth of the matter is that the world is actually a well-knit unified organism where no existence has a reality independent of the entirety. In this scheme of things, we are all necessarily bound to an interdependent framework. Even in immediate terms, you are a part of your family, all having a shared destiny. God forbid, if something untoward happens to your wife, you and your family can’t go unaffected, and especially your young kids, who will be hit hard. ‘Being true to the self’ actually means making such reasoned choices as would at the least not prove detrimental to the family.

All the advisory fell flat on his head. His wife had to bear with another two failed IVF attempts. Meanwhile, she naturally conceived. And now in her advanced stage of pregnancy, it has been found that she is not carrying a healthy baby. The question now is: How is it that an educated person could be so blindly stuck to his delusionary perceptions, to willfully ignore what was inevitable? The man’s astrological pointers offer the answer.

Born when fiery and active sign Aries owned by Mars was rising, he was headstrong, impulsive, aggressive, impatient, and intolerant. He had a tendency to jump to action without applying proper forethought, and would not budge till pushed to the wall. He may not like to play second fiddle to any, nor would be open to listening or counselling. But then, when faced with a difficult situation, there can be no better a crisis manager than him either.

What further compounds his problem is that mind-signifying Moon occupies Mercury-owned sign. That brings in the wish to live on his own exclusive terms. He may remain stuck to his self-perceptions and beliefs. Such characters like only ‘yes persons’. They can’t digest any contrarian view. So long as you offer such advice as would be in line with his perception, you remain the best sought after friend. The moment you speak something that would be at variance with his perceptions, he may go wild, and you may turn out to be the worst enemy.

Moon conjunct erratic Rahu makes him a restless character. Moon is also placed adverse to the Sun, Venus, and Mercury. This combination in the first place implies that he is emotionally unstable and oversensitive. He may take even trivial issues to heart, and keep unnecessarily mulling over them beyond due. Second, he would be high strung.

The Sun is placed adverse to Uranus, which makes him unconventional, self-willed, tactless, and at times even erratic. He won’t mind going against socially accepted norms, and would rather prefer charting out his own path. Mercury ill-disposed off to mischievous Neptune accounts for his insensible reasoning and judgment.  Jupiter placed adverse to Neptune makes him stuck to peculiar beliefs, which he may blindly pursue. The result is there to see.

I wish, he looks within to figure out his own innate fault lines for necessary correction, and proves true to himself.
