Witch doctor dupes married woman of Rs 1.5 Lakh

A 30-year-old married woman was duped to the tune of Rs  1.5 lakh in the name of controlling her husband at Bagh Dilkhusha; Aishbagh police have registered case against fraudster.

To gain hold over husband victim wife Shabana Khan contacted a witch doctor who assured that after wearing 50 gm of gold jewelry she would gain power to control her husband and later escaped with the gold. 

The accused Baba Sufi Sahil as name in the complaint by the victim used a run a shop at Bagh Dilkhusha and used to deal in witchcraft. She got a visiting card of the accused and met him. The accused offered a solution but in return demanded 50 gm of gold. The victim was having 10 gm of gold jewelry and she arranged the remaining from neighbours and relatives and on October 27 she went to the accused.

After providing the gold jewelry accused covered it with a piece of cloth and put flour over the packet. She was told to check the packet next day and wear the jewelry but later when she checked the jewelry was found missing.

The victim told the police that her husband Javed was inclined towards his parents and for the past one year she was living at her house after having fight with husband.

After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 420 of the IPC and started further investigation. Police have started search for the accused. The call record details of the accused would beinvestigated.
