During the observance of the ongoing Vigilance Awareness Week, a meeting was organised at the district Collectorate here on Tuesday being presided over by DIPRO Lalyani Dash.
Bargarh Collector Indramani Tripathy, SP Mukesh Kumar Bhamoo and Sarad Kumar Pradhan attended the programme as guests and spoke on the theme ‘Education, Corruption, Build a New India’.
They dwelt on the word ’Durniti’ which means evil in the society.
The guests urged people to promise to eradicate corruption and help the Vigilance organisation in its mission to curb the evil practice.
More than 100 people, including Government officials, members of public and students attended the meeting and presented their views.
