Two persons were killed in two different road accidents in the district on Monday.
While one Bharat Pradhan, a resident of Andhari village under Erasama block, who was moving to Paradip by his bike, suddenly lost control over bike and fell down in the Taldanda Canal at Pandarnumber on the Cuttack-Parardip State Highway.
He was rushed to the Kujang hospital, where he was declared brought dead by a doctor.
In the other mishap that occurred at Nuagaon village in the Erasama area, a scooty rider, Subash Rout, was killed when a motorbike coming from the opposite direction collided head on with his scooty.
