A debate competition on Dushyant Kumar’s ghazals and musical event will be organised in city to observe the birth anniversary of legendary poet Dushyant Kumar. A two-day fest Dushyant Jayanti will be organised by Dushyant Kumar Memorial Museum of Manuscript on September 1 and 2. This two-day festival will be held in the museum building located at Mata Temple.
While informing about the programme, Director of Dushyant Kumar Memorial Museum of Manuscript Rajurkar Raj said that on September 1, Dushyant Kumar Jayanti will be participating in a college dispute competition, in which the students of the city's schools will participate in classes 9 to 12. The subject of competition is ‘Social media is helpful in society development’.
The aspirants who want to take part in the competition can contact organizing team member of this competition Mahesh Saxena, on 9893356798 or 7692026871 for free registrations, informed Raj. The competition will start from 3 o'clock on September 1. The three winners of the competition will be felicitated with cash prize along with certificates. The museum patron, Mahendra Chaudhary and Director of the Department of Culture Akshay Kumar Singh will give away the prizes to the winners, he further added.
On the second day of the festival, Prakash Sonawalkar of Ujjain will perform a musical presentation of Dushyant Kumar's ghazals.
