Dehradun police arrested two persons from Sahaspur and recovered stolen items from their possession on Sunday. The accused have been identified as Sattar and Shaukin, natives of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Police recovered a stolen bike, one country made pistol and cartridges from their possession. Sahaspur police were conducting vehicle checking drive when two persons on a bike without a license plate were signalled to for a check.
Police arrested them after they failed to present the relevant documents and properly answer the questions posed by police. In course of investigation the bike was found to be from Haryana. Police say that it is a major breakthrough regarding many crime cases.
