Sanpur Police Station, informed that Sannu Sahu found on Sunday morning that three of his family members- his mother and his two daughters, were found dead while two others his wife and his son were gasping for breath due to poison.
Sannu Sahu along with his neighbours immediately took them to a nearby Primary Health Centre from where they were referred to Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS), police informed.
As per Sannu, who is employed with a Coal Washery, the entire family after taking meals in the night all of them fell asleep. He doesn’t know what happened thereafter.
In the incident Gulaba Bai, 60 year, Nikita, 16 year, Neelam, 12 year died while the situation of Sannu’s wife Prastuti and his son Vikas was stated to be critical. Police suspect that family tension could be the reason for suicide.
