The Prajapita Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya and the Bhubaneswar Rotary Confluence felicitated many ideal teachers with the Rotary International’s “Nation Builder Award-2018” here on Friday.
Club president Dr Lalit Kumar Behera presided over the meeting. Rotary District Governor Bhabani Shankar Choudhury and Brahmakumari Geeta gave away the prizes.
Kabita Nayak and Rashmita Nayak of the Gangamunda High School, Khordha, Anupama Sahoo of KC Nodal High School, Jatni, Upendra Das of Dadhibamanpur High School, Nayagarh and Dr Girija Shankar Mohapatra of Jawaharlal Nodal School, Nandighore were felicitated, among others. Among others, senior Rotarian Shibabrata Das, AB Mahapatra, Soumyaranjan Mishra, Rabindra Nath Sahoo, Gopinath Kar and Inner Wheel Club members were present. Nilachal Pradhan proposed a vote of thanks. Noted lawyer Kailash Chandra Kanungo and eminent educationist Bishnu Charan Sahoo coordinated the programme.
