The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) would protest against the alleged deteriorating situation of higher education in the Utkal University and Rama Devi Women’s University here, said ABVP Odisha State secretary Pryanka Priyadarshini Mallick at a Press meet held here on Tuesday.
Mallick said a “Chhatra Adhikar Rally” would be taken out on February 8 here to protest against the various problems of the Utkal University and Rama Devi Women’s University. In the rally, more than 5,000 students would take part, she added.
Mallick said memorandums would also be submitted to the universities’ Vice-Chancellors in this regard.
Among others, Mitali Mohini Rath, Sanjay Mallik, Ratan Digal and Haramohan Behera were present.
