Under the ‘voters awareness programme’ and to motivate them keeping in view of the upcoming Assembly polls in the State, Chhattisgarh Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Subrat Sahoo will have live interaction with the voters on Facebook on October 1 from 12 pm to 1 pm.
He would be interacting on the Facebook page of @ceo Chhattisgarh.
The one hour programme has been divided into two phases. The first one would have panel members, who will brief the voters regarding the Chhattisgarh General Election 2018 related preparations being undertaken, including topics of polling centre arrangements, basic facilities extended to persons with disabilities (PWD), third gender and senior citizens along other basic necessary information.
The electors would be motivated to use their right to vote and cast vote during the polling.
The CEO would also answer queries and clear doubts raised by voters. The questions of voters would be collected in the comment box and randomly selected questions would be kept before the panel for answering.
The CEO office, social media wing has urged the voters of state to participate in large number. Already, keeping in view of the general election 2018 in state, through social media Facebook #ChhattisgarhVotes a competition is in progress which has a provision of cash award from Rs 500 to Rs 50,000.
