New ideas have started to emerge in sector of industries and business. To promote this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had implemented the Start-Up India scheme. Under the scheme, to link the State youth and provide benefit, ‘Start-Up Chhattisgarh Yojna’ has been started and the policy has also been made, said commerce and industries minister Amar Agrawal.
He was addressing the flagging of ceremony of ‘Start-Up Chhattisgarh Yatra’ by showing green flag. Under the scheme, a hi-tech vehicle would visit districts of State for publicity of scheme. A brochure of Start-Up Chhattisgarh was released at Dr Shayma Prasad Mukherjee Industries and Business premises on Monday.
Ministry, further said, that the scheme response in State was good after it was started in year 2016. Around 3800 ideas came up from colleges out of which 125 best ideas were selected for registration with Start-Up India. On all facility centre has been established at Pandri to promote activities. The scheme has been helpful in identifying the talents of country. State knows the problems while starting any enterprise so is providing office, marketing, capital and other requirement.
Industry minister said that it is thought of Prime Minister that youth instead of searching job should provide job and state would extend all help. He urged youth to link with the scheme in larger number.
Information Technology department and Principal Secretary to CM, Aman Kumar Singh said that the status of core sector industries in State was strong and in last 4-5 years IT sector is also progressing. State has extended many policies which had helped it for quantum jump. Around 50-60 IT industrial unit has arrived with investment of around Rs 600 crore. Power sector employment has gone bit down but IT sector there is growth. One IT hub is coming up in Naya Raipur. State youth have capacity and state is providing all opportunities. Anyone can emerge as Bill Gates. He spoke on 4-C concept for success and many different things and traditions are there using them new companies can be formed.
Function was presided by Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation (CSIDC) chairman Chaggan lal Mundra, IIM Director Bharat Bhaskar, secretary commerce and industries Dr Kamalpreet Singh, Director Industries Alarmel Mangai D and Director, Technical Education Vivek Acharya were present.
