Two-day seminar on Cyber Security
A two-day seminar on ‘Sensitization of Information and Cyber Security’ is organized by Department of New Media Technology, Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication from 30 Nov to December 01.The seminar will be inaugurated by Rajesh Singh Bhadoria, SP Cyber Cell in presence of Rector of the University Lajpat Ahuja and Registrar Pro Sanjay Dwivedi at 11 am on Friday. Abhishek Sonekar, (Cyber Cell, Govt of MP) will deliver the lecture on Cyber Crime Awareness. Raghu Pandey (Expert-Cyber Ethics, iMature.in), Bhopal will express his views on Cyber Ethics, safety and digital citizenship. Ankita Shrivastav (Vice President, Aadarsh Printers) will speak on E-Publishing Digital Archives and Information Security.On the second day of the seminar, Anubhuti Yadav (Head, New media, IIMC, New Delhi) will share views on Changing information landscape in India. Ajinkya Kulkarni, (Chief Integrator Media Vidya, Pune) and Milind Oak, (CEO, Bharti Web, Pune will shed light on Social Media Content and Security Issues. Vice Chancellor of MCU Jagdish Upasane will conclude the session with his valedictory address.
SISTec selected to establish iic on its premises
Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTec) has been selected for establishing Institution Innovation Council (IIC) at its premises as per the norms and directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development, (MHRD) Government of India (GOI).The same was declared during launch of Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) programme by the Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar through video conferencing under Innovation cell of MHRD in New Delhi. Ministry of Human Resource Development has established an Innovation cell (MIC) at AICTE with a purpose to systematically foster the culture of Innovation in all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and Technical Higher Education Institutions (THEIs) across the country to encourage, inspire and nurture young students to work with new ideas and transform themselves into prototypes with research.
