Leader of the Opposition in State Assembly Ajay Singh said that once again Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has tempted youths with false hopes through Innovation Council Start Up Conclave in Madhya Pradesh.
Earlier too, in the year 2014 Chouhan had announced to make the state new start up destination of the country and formed Madhya Pradesh Venture Finance Limited which failed to provide assistance to youths in the last five years.
He said that the MD and CEO of Madhya Pradesh Venture Finance Limited resigned citing reason of no cooperation from government led by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. In the past seven years the fund which was supposed to be of Rs 100 is still to be made and not a single young entrepreneur has been benefitted.
Several proposals of start ups are pending with Venture Finance Limited for the past five years but none of the proposals from young entrepreneur has been accepted and approved benefitting the young entrepreneur.
On investors submits, Chouhan spent crores of rupees are announced to create Rs 100 crore Venture Capital Fund and government had to pay Rs 20 crore and after providing Rs 5 crore for office set up remaining fund was not released due to which Small Industries Development Bank of India along with five other banks refused to provided money for the fund.
The unemployment has increased to 53 per cent in the past two years. From 2015 to 2017, the number of unemployed has increased by 7.40 lakh in the State, he added.
