The prominent Sherwood College in Nainital has been registered and recognised by the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE). With this, the school will introduce the primary and secondary Cambridge curriculum from the 2019 academic session. The school principal Amandeep Sandhu said this while addressing the media here on Tuesday.

He said that the CAIE had granted its approval for implementation of its primary and secondary curriculum. He said that Cambridge primary is an international education programme which is being implemented in more than 1,300 schools in 113 nations. Trained teachers make consistent efforts to ascertain the strengths and weaknesses of students.

CAIE chief executive Michael O’Sullivan said that Sherwood College going towards implementation of the Cambridge curriculum was a welcome development. He said that this curriculum provides a strong foundation for higher education of the students.
