Students of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar continued to win medals in CBSE West Zone Skating Championship by bagging three gold and one Bronze medal. Sanchay Singh bagged 2 gold medals with one gold medal won by Anjaney Kashyap and Sanidhya Saxena settling with one bronze medal. Sanchay Singh and Anjaney Kashyap has been selected for Nationals and has been trained under the guidance of their mentor coach Vaibhav Nagaich.
In CBSE West Zone Judo Championship, Sagar Public School Students Gouri Dutt has bagged Gold Medal whereas Anshuman Sharma, Aniket Choubey, Akshad Shukla and Anay Shrivastava, bagged bronze medals.
Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, Chairman, Sagar Group and Principal, Pankaj Sharma congratulated the students for their achievements, hard work and recognized their efforts in bringing laurels to school.
Meanwhile, Sagar Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Civil Engineering will be organizing a three day workshop for budding technocrats seeking career in Civil Engineering at its Gandhi Nagar campus. The workshop will be held on ‘Recent Trends in Earthquake Resistant Design of Buildings’ from November 1-3, 2018 and will be attended by students and faculties of various colleges.
The workshop will witness presence of eminent speakers Lalit Borana from IIT Indore, Aruna Rawat, SS Bhadoria from RGPV Bhopal and Shahsi Narayan from NIT Uttrakhand. The workshop will be coordinated by Prof Arnav Anuj Kasar and is aimed to educate students on recent advancement in earthquake resistant design of buildings.
