Sintu Singh of Mau in Uttar Pradesh would not have thought that he would share his experiences and expectations with none other than the Chief Minister when he visits Deoghar with offerings during Shravani mela.
Sintu Singh was not alone in his conversation with Chief Minister Raghubar Das who interacted live with the likes of Purnima Kumari and Arun Kumar from Siwan, Jitendra Kumar Maurya from Gorakhpur, Rampravesh Pandey and Asmrita Pandey from Gaya, Kanchan Kumari from Giridih and others and also shared their experience through video conferencing on Monday.
During the interaction, the devotees wholeheartedly praised the arrangements in place by the Government. “I am very happy to see that all the required facilities are in place here at Deoghar like mobile charging points, arrangements of food and comfortable beds for resting etc. I thank the Government for making all these arrangements which were not seen in the past,” said Shintu talking with the CM live.
The devotees also thanked the district administration for maintaining cleanliness in and around the Baidyanath Dham temple complex along with the temple town. On its part, the Chief Minister welcomed the devotees and whished them well for the pious month of Shravan.
“State Government is committed to provide best facilities to the devotees coming to Sharavni mela which includes accommodation, security, health, uninterrupted power supply, intercommunication services etc. I also wish you well and may Baba Baidyanath fulfill all your wishes,” said the Chief Minister during the live conversation with devotees while sitting at his office and also appealed them to support the local administration and police to keep the area clean and peaceful.
The Chief Minister sharing his own experiences said that he had visited with seven kanwars to Baba Dham and thus he can feel the problems and hardships kanwariyas have to face.
He also encouraged the devotees to lodge any complain in the grievance redressal centre with the administration or they can directly put it up on the twitter handle of chief minister @dasraghubar. Complaints are being resolved immediately and suggestions are being used to improve the fair, he assured.
During the talk a devotee Bharat Kumar Shah coming from Janakpuri, Nepal suggested to launch a temporary SIM card facility because they face communication problem. On this, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal was instructed to solve the matter. Another devotee also appreciated the arrangement and told that earlier his mother used to come with him but due to poor arrangement in the past she could not make it this time. The Chief Minister requested him to bring his mother next time.
Chief Secretary Sudhir Tripathi, Secretary (Art and Culture) Manish Ranjan, Deoghar DC Rahul Kumar Sinha and other senior officers were present during the interaction.
