Polling was held for the elections to Dehradun Bar Association on Tuesday. The counting was on till the time of this report being filed. A total of 2905 members figured in the voter list. The polling started at 9.30 am and continued till 4.30 pm in the court campus. A total of 34 candidates are in the fray for 11 different posts of DBA election. According to election officer B l Gurang, polling was peaceful and the results were expected to be declared by 10 pm. It should be mentioned here that four candidates each are in the fray for the post of president and secretary in the election. Four candidates who are contesting election for the post of president are Rajeev Sharma, Manmohan Kandwal, Pramila Rathaur and Anil Saxena. Four candidates who are contesting election for the post of secretary are Anil Pandit, Anil Sharma, Ajay Bisht and Prakash T pal.
