The land of Mahabharta, Kurukshetra will witness a series of rallies by political bigwigs in the month of September.
While the former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has announced to begin the sixth phase of his Rath Yatra named ‘Jan Kranti Yatra’ on September 9 from Pehowa in Kurukshetra, Indian National lok Dal has also announced a rally on the same date in Kurukshetra.
During his three days ‘Jan Kranti Yatra’, Hooda will be covering all constituencies in Kurukshetra and would address a series of public meetings.
Kiran Choudhry, leader of the Haryana Congress legislature Party is also scheduled to hold a rally on September 9 in the district.
On the other hand, leader of opposition and INlD’s senior leader Abhay Chautala will also be holding a rally on September 9, just a day after party’s proposed ‘Haryana Bandh’ on September 8 on the issue of Sutlej Yamuna link canal and Dadupur Nalvi irrigation project.
At the proposed rally, the party is likely to make announcement related to its ongoing protest on the issue of non-completion of SYl canal.
