Police nab 3 persons for killing 38-yr-old

Khajuri police have nabbed three persons for killing a 38-year-old man at Nayapur forest on September 26; main accused was frustrated after his wife started to live with deceased in live-in for the past three months.

The SHO of Khajuri police, Harishankar Pandey said that the deceased Deepak Ojha was found killed by Santosh Prajapati along with Dharmendra and Chain Singh. On September 26 they had food with Deepak and provided him liquor with pesticides and when he started to lose conscious they strangulated him and later dumped him near Barwah River in Ratua.

Santosh and his elder brother Dharmendra were arrested while the third accused was later arrested. Santosh married Preeti around 8 years ago and had two children from the marriage and during the period she was living with the deceased he tried for her return but failed and later asked her to meet at Fanda where Deepak was killed, he added.

Based on the complaint lodged by Preeti a case under section 302 of the IPC was registered against the three accused and were later nabbed.

Meanwhile, a 50-year-old man died after his bike was hit by a speeding truck at Alpana Talkies trisection under Hanumanganj police station area late in the night on Friday.

The deceased identified as Prakash Nateran was a resident of Naya Basera in Kotra. The police registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and started further investigation. The deceased used to work as lawyer. The errant driver is absconding.
