Following a complaint registered on the Chief Minister’s mobile phone application, the problem faced by residents of Dandanagraj and its adjoining villages of the Kot block in Pauri district has been resolved. The bus service from the district headquarter Pauri to Dandanagraj, which was not functioning for the last one year, was resumed after the complaint on the CM’s mobile app. The people of the area and the complainant Kamal Rawat expressed their happiness and communicated their gratitude to Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat.
Kamal Rawat, a resident of Pauri had registered a complaint on Chief Minister’s mobile app about the bus service to the famous religious place in Kot block of the district not operating for the past one year. It was stated in the complaint that the people living in 100 villages of the Kot block have to pay more fare to taxi operators for their transportation and appealed Chief Minister to restart the bus service to Dandanagraj to address the problems of the public of the area.
Taking the cognisance of the problems being faced by the public, the Chief Minister’s office on receiving the complaint directed the transport commissioner to solve the problem of the people on priority basis. The complainant said that the commissioner held a meeting on April 27 with transport officers of Garhwal region and asked them to resume the bus service. A meeting was held under the regional transport officer and attended by representatives of the bus operators after which the service was resumed.
