Congress legislator from Korba Jai Singh Agrawal on Tuesday, raised the matter of transfer of land in  his own possession which is situated at village Chuinya in Korba district.

The member charged that being a member of Opposition party, biased action was being taken by the administration into the matter as he was involved in the case.

Agrawal asked that as investigation into the matter in five to six cases are going on, it must be clarified under which head the concerned land belongs to. In each of the cases, the heads of the lands are different, he said.

In his reply, Revenue Minister Prem Prakash Pandey said it was a matter of Revenue Court and investigations are on following complaint of one Santosh Goyal. A court of Sub Divisional Magistrate is investigating into the matter, he said.

Objecting to the reply of the Minister, leader of Opposition T S Singhdeo  alleged that the matter was now of an issue of political rivalry and openly the Congress legislator was being harassed, he said.

The Opposition members also alleged that the government had filed alleged fake report against the Congress MlA because of political rivalry. Demanding stern action against the Tehsildar, the members charged that he had allegedly given wrong report against the Congress MlA and staged walkout over the issue from the House.
