Even after drowning of minor girl in the unconstructed drainage no attention was paid by administration and BJP representative from Narela constituency complaint residents of Shivani Homes at ward no 79 during the second day of ‘Narela Bachao Yatra’ lead by former State Congress General Secretary Mahendra Singh Chouhan on Friday.

The drainage was made around a year ago but inferior construction quality lead to the damaged of drainage which cost around Rs 60 lakh.

Sigh said that in the same ward when the residents of Rajvansh Colony at Karond went to request for road construction they were scolded by their MlA. He told the residents that he do not want their vote as he is lucky enough and would not face defeat. This attitude would ruin him as people could not be neglected by their own representatives.

In the ward land mafia has encroached and sold government land and the MlA Sarang is aware of the fact. Complaints have been made but no action was taken which suggests that the nexus has been supported by MlA.

The second day of the ‘Narela Bachao Yatra’ started from Brij Colony. It later covered Ratan Colony, Pooja Colony, Shivani Homes, Rajvansh Colony, Mittal College Super State, Janta Nagar, Shiv Nagar, Murli Nagar, Pipal Square and culminated at Karond square.

People were found putting their written complaint in the complaint box which would carried during the whole 15 day ‘Narela Bachao Yatra’.

In the ‘Narela Bachao Yatra’ former corporator Sajid Ansari, lawyer Dharmendra Singh and Pratap Bhanu Singh and Congressmen were present.
