In a tragic incident, a minor boy took the extreme step to end his life after his poor mother refused to buy a new dress for him.
The incident was reported from Bardhanpur village under the Baleswar Sadar police limits on Sunday.
Dambaru Dalai (12), a Class-V student of the Bardhanpur Primary School and son of late Mangal Dalai, was found hanging in a toilet on Sunday morning.
According reports, Dambaru had asked for a new dress on his father Mangal’s death anniversary. When his mother denied him, he allegedly hung self with a scarf of his sister in the toilet on Saturday night.
