Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik is yet to repay the loan of Rs 15 lakh he had taken from his sister Gita Mehta.
According to his property list declaration for the year 2017-18, Patnaik’s assets increased by only Rs 2,81,010 in one year. His movable and immovable properties are worth Rs 49,25,02,647. Last year, he had declared his property worth Rs 49,22,21,637.
As per the declaration, Patnaik owns a 1980-model Ambassador car worth Rs 8,905. He has immovable assets including a 22.7-acre agriculture land, a building in Tikrikhera village in Faridabad district of Haryana, a two thirds-share in the Naveen Niwas and a 50-per cent share in a property at the APJ Abdul Kalam Road in New Delhi.
He owns jewellery worth Rs 2,21,200. Besides, he has total bank deposits of Rs 27.38 lakh in several banks in Odisha and New Delhi.
