In an effort to further strengthen its pioneering programme Kala Haat, Amazon India on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Madhya Pradesh Handicraft and Handloom Development Corporation ltd to launch Mrignayanee on Amazon’s marketplace.
The partnership aims to support over 500 weavers, craftsmen, and artisans across the state and empower their growth in the digital economy. Through this partnership, thousands of products handcrafted by weavers, craftsmen and artisans from Madhya Pradesh associated with Mrignayanee will be enabled by Amazon India by providing them with a marketplace to showcase their products directly to customers across the country.
On the occasion, Archana Vohra, Director, Seller Enablement of Amazon India said, “With our experience and deep understanding of customers across the country, this launch will help provide a wider reach for the products which in-turn will have a positive impact in the lives of the rural weavers, craftsmen, and artisans associated with Mrignayanee.
