A ‘Mati Maa Unnanti Mela’ was held at Kuliabahal village, 25 km from here by Bhimpahad farmers- producers’ company and Krushak Samiti Samuha with support from the Reliance Foundation, Balangir.
It would be pertinent to mention here the birth day of industrialist late Dhirubhai Ambani is observed as Mati maa Unnanti Mela by the Reliance Foundation every year where in the development activities of Reliance Foundation is displayed and local cultural troupes display their talent.
Chief guest Achyut Purohit stressed on preservation of local culture and stressed on conservation of water resources for betterment of mankind. He enthralled the audience with his satire poem.
Scribe Sudhir Mishra stressed the need of conservation of water resource and waste water management plant for optimum utilisation of water resources.
Earlier, the guest garlanded the photograph of Ambani on the occasion. Five village Samitis were felicitated.
