A family feud near the Station Road under the Barbil police limits in Keonjhar district turned fatal as a man allegedly killed his younger brother late on Sunday night.
According to reports, a heated exchange of words ensued between Bipin Thapa and his younger brother Rahul Thapa over some family affair.
losing his cool, Bipin picked up a wooden plank and hit Rahul with it, leading to the latter’s death on the spot.
On being informed, police reached the spot and arrested the accused. The body was sent for postmortem. Investigation into the matter is underway.
