Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that everyone has to make effort to implement ‘Ayushman Bharat’ scheme so that Jharkhand becomes a role model in its implementation. While speaking in the seminar organised with the directors of private hospitals in the State under the Prime Minister Jan Swasthya Yojana here on Saturday, the CM said that Jharkhand will have to set up such a system that the benefit of this scheme will be available to poor, exploited and disadvantaged. With public cooperation we will be successful in organizing the system, he said.

Das said that the State Health Advisory Committee will soon be formed for the successful implementation of the scheme, in which the operators of private hospitals will also be included in the form of representatives. There will also be a technical committee under this committee, which will give suggestion for problems in implementation of the scheme and the problems of hospitals. The meeting of this committee will be held every month. The state government will implement the recommendation of the Advisory Committee. Government is committed to implement every kind of decision in the public interest.

The CM asked the hospital operators to give the correct information to the Arogya Friend and Medical Coordinator posted for the help of patients. Encourage them to behave well with the patients and help them in every way. Golden Card is not compulsory to take advantage of this scheme but anyone with a ration card can also avail the scheme.

The Chief Minister said that earlier in this year’s budget; the Government had announced that 57 lakh families of the State would be covered under the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme. Meanwhile, the Central Government launched Ayushman Bharat, in which 28 lakh families of the State had to get the benefit. The State Government added 29 lakh families and now 57 lakh families will get the benefit of health insurance of Rs. 5 lakhs annually. This will be a huge service for the poor. Swami Vivekananda had also said that by making changes in the lives of the poor our country can become a world guru. Its endeavor has begun with the Ayushmann Bharat Scheme.
