In a petition to Shree Jaganath Temple Administration (SJTA) Chief Administrator Pradipta Mohapatra, a battery of lawyers of Puri has questioned the reappointment of retired Government employees in the shrine’s management.
Led by senior advocate Jugal Kishore Rath, the lawyers have termed the reappointment of retired staffs as completely illegal and urged the SJTA to withdraw the order immediately. When lakhs of educated youths are unemployed, why the old staffs, who are now pension holders, are reemployed, the lawyers have asked.
