New office-bearers of the Kumaon Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI) were elected for 2018-19 in its 30th annual general meeting held here on Friday.
Ashok Bansal was elected the president of KGCCI while Vinit Kumar was elected the senior vice president. Abhishek Agrawal was elected the treasurer while NS Chauhan, DS Bisht, SS Anand, Anvesh Yadav, RK Goyal, Kuldip Singh among others were elected as members.
The outgoing president of KGCCI Vikas Jindal spoke of the history and position of the chamber on the occasion. He also informed the gathering about the achievements of KGCCI during 2017-18.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the newly elected president Ashok Bansal said that with the cooperation of its members, the chamber also plays its role in socially relevant activities.
On the demand made by KGCCI members, the police installed CCTV cameras at sensitive locations in Kashipur which are important from the view point of public safety. He exhorted all members to participate actively in the various activities of the chamber.
