Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (Jogi) (JCC) (J) on Friday announced its plans for encircling Chhattisgarh legislative Assembly premises on July 4.
A decision regarding the same was taken at a meeting of Core Committee members of the party held here.
Addressing a press conference later on at Sagaun Bungalow, JCC (J) leader and legislator from Marwahi, Amit Jogi informed that the party members will encircle the State legislative Assembly premises to demand complete prohibition in the State, waiver of agriculture loan and 90% reservation to local youth of Chhattisgarh in jobs in the State.
All the senior leaders of the party would be present during the agitation, he added.
Amit Jogi also informed that the health of his father and party Supremo Ajit Jogi was now better and he will soon be back in the State capital.
He further informed that JCC (J) is also going to launch ‘Khet Chalo Andolan’ from July 10.
Party Supremo Ajit Jogi would announce futher programmes after returning from New Delhi, he said.
later talking to some media persons, JCC (J) General Secretary Abdul Hamid Hayat informed that the Core Committee members of the party under leadership of its Supremo Ajit Jogi are going to meet Chief Election Commissioner in New Delhi on July 6 regarding allotment of election symbol to the party.
“We are demanding from Election Commission of India (ECI) to allot ‘Tractor ‘as our election symbol”, he further informed.
