Union Petroleum and Natural Gas, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday inaugurated an IndianOil Jal Jivan CSR project and an IndianOil Surya Prakash CSR project at Tilapada in Mayurbhanj district.
He said Prime Minister Modi has identified around 21,000 villages in the country out of which 388 are in Odisha.
Under the IndianOil CSR activities, more than Rs 40 lakh investment has been made in which 15,000 ltd overhead water tanks with 15 tap off points would provide drinking water to villagers.
Besides, 25 solar streetlights were inaugurated by Pradhan under the IndianOil Surya Prakash CSR project in the village.
